Medical Sales

Hello and welcome everyone today I'd like to talk about a few points about cells and especially medical salse because I'm a biomedical engineer myself so first of all when you're trying to sell something you have to understand your product the product you're selling and when you're trying to offer this product your potential buyer have to tell him about the outputs of this product what this product could do to him how the what's the problems that the product could solve instead of focusing on the product itself for example my case about medical engineer when I if I want to sell a medical device to a hospital for example I should focus on how this device could improve the quality of life for patients in the hospitals in the hospital not the product itself and of course you have to understand what exactly your client needs so you shouldn't sell something to someone who really doesn't need it that is not good for you or for your your potential buyer and you have to understand and be aware of the similar products in the in the market that makes you put the right price for your product and understand what the challenge is around your product and it's very important you know they say in sales it's two things understanding your product and build a good relationship with your client and this relationship should be built on trust honesty is very important listen to the concerns and needs of your buyer and there's something also called uh value added service in standing instead of just lowering the price when you're margeting with your client instead of that you have to address this method which is value added service for example if you're selling a medical device instead of just directly lowering the price you have to get offer him something like your training for the medical staff in his Hospital instead of lowering the price you could tell him that the price is may be could be high for you but we are going you're ready to train your medical staff for this device or you could offer a long-term maintenance contract you could offer a long-term guarantee Etc so don't try just directly to lower the price try to use different methods and understand the budget of your buyer and be flexible especially if this company or this client has uh has uh financial problems in the meantime so as I said long-term relationship is very important because especially in medical sales if you're dealing with a hospital for example this client could be your client for 10 or 20 or 30 years so you have to build a good relationship ship with them and uh there's something very important about cells which is reputation reputation matters in sales because sometimes you're selling someone something but this someone could tell other people so you're either helping yourself to develop a good reputation in the market or a bad reputation and people you know they say about their personal experiences with buyers with stellers I'm sorry so you're not dealing with one person you could see it like that you're dealing with Society itself and um there's something very important which is sell what you believe in this is what they sell they say in in the cells word be this is what we call also ethical cells it's not also good for yourself to feel relief and feel good about yourself and it's also good for the business because eventually if your client really likes you who going to complete working with you and dealing with you so it's also good for you from the ethical side because you're telling someone something they really need you have to explain all everything about this product all the advantages disadvantages everything be honest it's good for for you for the client and for the relationship of both of you thank you so much
